The local Republican county party recently held its biennial reorganization meeting, where new leaders were elected to serve on the Executive and Central Committees. These leaders will guide the party for the next two years, working to advance the interests of Republicans in our county.

The meeting follows the procedures set out by Idaho law, which dictates that the term of office for Precinct Committee Officers begins eight days after the primary election and lasts until eight days after the following primary election. Central Committee officers, on the other hand, assume their duties immediately upon election and serve at the pleasure of the Central Committee or until their successors are elected.
