As we head into the upcoming primary election, one of the most important things you can do as a voter is look beyond campaign messaging and review actual voting records.

Campaign ads, mailers, and social media posts can say anything - but a legislator’s voting record shows what they have actually done.

Attached is a 2025–2026 Legislative Voting Record summary for our area to make it easier to see how elected officials voted on key issues.

This document provides a side-by-side comparison of selected votes from the 2025 and 2026 Idaho legislative sessions, including topics like:

  • Medical freedom
  • Education and parental rights
  • Immigration
  • Taxes and spending
  • Election integrity
  • Medicaid policies

See images 1 & 2 for record with full details and bill-by-bill votes.
