Candidate for State Representative Seat A - Legislative District 6
https://www.cindyforidaho.com/ Candidate Affirmation FormBiography
I’ve lived on the Palouse my entire adult life, I married my
husband Paul the day after Christmas in the middle of a
snow storm 44 years ago and we are still going strong
weathering the many storms that life has thrown at us, we
have been blessed with 4 children and 9 grandchildren and
family is the center of our life.
I attended the U of I and majored in Communications. I bring
a lifetime of experience to this endeavor, currently, 25 years
as a Realtor running my own business. Prior to this, I ran
the Congressional offices for the late USS Dirk Kempthorne
and USS Mike Crapo. I had the honor of
representing District 5 from 2012-2014 in the Idaho House of
Representatives where I served on the Business, Education,
Agriculture and Revenue & Taxation Committees. I am the
candidate with experience, the candidate with the
relationships, the candidate with established coalitions that
can get things done, which is why I am endorsed by the
Majority Club and the Speaker of the House.
I am pro-life and I have been endorsed by Idaho Chooses
Life, I am pro-second amendment and have an “A” rating
with the NRA. I support private property rights and I am
endorsed by the Idaho Realtors Assoc. I want to see our law
enforcement communities have the tools
and fair wages they need to stay safe and I am endorsed by
the Idaho Fraternal Order of Police. I support the
Agricultural industries of our state, I am deeply aware of
their importance not only to our region but to our state
economy, which is why I have earned their support of my
campaign across the board. I believe in Education, all kinds
and at every level, which is why I have been endorsed by the
American Federation for Children, the group that brought the School Choice Bill to Idaho. I believe when Idahoans are
working we have a healthier economy, so I support economic
development and a business environment that gets out of
the way so business can grow and thrive without
unnecessary regulations and excessive tax burdens, because
of this, I am endorsed by Idaho Business. These
endorsements were earned, and they do not make me
beholden to anyone, they only show a respect for my
common sense, conservative voting record and a level of
confidence Idahoans have for my ability to do the job. If you
wonder why I have these endorsements and not my
opponent, I encourage you to contact these conservative
groups and ask them why I was their first choice.
Above all else, I am in this race to work for you and I humbly
ask for your vote on May19th.
